Ron Kim is an AI and technology leader with a 35 year career including 20+ years in tech consulting for private equity, startups and Fortune 500 companies. He was twice as a Fortune 100 C-level tech operator (CTO and CIO) and led Cyber Security multiple times.

Ron has held advisory and fractional CIO/CTO roles for organizations from startups to multi-billion-dollar size and operates effectively from Board Level all the way to “diving deep” with engineering squads and IT operational teams.

As a Global CTO he launched and scaled generative/agentic AI across the company’s entire value chain for 60,000 employees.

In July 2025 Ron announced he’d be retiring from corporate roles at the end of 2025 and he now consults independently via Ron Kim Advisory.
